- Support daily clinic operations through scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination
- Assist with insurance processing, billing support, and maintaining accurate patient records
- Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow efficiently
- Conduct patient check-in/check-out while ensuring accuracy of information
- Proactively follow up on recalls, missed appointments, and scheduling needs
- Maintain precise electronic medical records and facilitate communication between departments
- Verify insurance coverage and ensure all patient demographic information is current
- Collect co-pays and balances while supporting billing and claims processes
- Address patient questions regarding insurance and billing with clarity and professionalism
- Uphold HIPAA standards and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth clinic operations and meet performance standards
- High school diploma required; healthcare or medical office experience preferred
- Familiarity with insurance verification, billing, or medical administrative processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others as needed
- Experience with collections or patient accounts is a plus
