Certification, such as the Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) credential, may also be beneficial. Before becoming a Healthcare Clerk, a person may have roles such as Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or Medical Records Technician.
