BJC is looking to hire a Full Time Scheduler

Additional Preferred Requirements

  • scheduling cases, taking patient phone calls, working with physicians in the office, answering emails, responding to EPIC messages

  • This is a brand new Role that will assist with scheduling for the ambulatory services for their Sunset Hills location. This individual will contact patients in regards to scheduling them for their surgery.

  • Work Schedule 9:30-6 Pm - Remote

  • Will be required to come in one day a month from 8-430

  • Training will be hybrid

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Responsible for coordinating and posting procedures to the operating room schedule including registration of patients, precertification, and clinical/billing data entry.

Responsibilities

Schedules patient procedures, surgeries, and any additional equipment or resources.Manages the patient procedures from the schedule notification point until the period right before the procedure.Coordinates with case management and physician offices insurance requirements for the surgical procedures.Completes audits of scheduled procedures and surgeries to ensure accuracy.Provides training, answers questions, back-up support to other surgery schedulers.
