Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Supervisor Level Healthcare Business Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on supporting margin improvement engagements through in-depth analysis of healthcare operations, supply chain, and revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of healthcare operations, supply chain, and revenue cycle metrics.
- Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for margin improvement.
- Develop and present detailed reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and clinical staff to gather data and understand operational challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss findings and recommendations.
- Identify inefficiencies within healthcare operations and propose solutions to enhance performance.
- Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain processes and revenue cycle management.
- Supervise and mentor junior analysts, providing guidance on analytical methods and best practices.
- Ensure all analyses comply with regulatory and industry standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analysis, or a related field.
- Proven experience in margin improvement initiatives within healthcare settings.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Familiarity with healthcare data systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in mentoring junior staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $95,400 - $192,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
