Are you living your life's work? Pennsylvania Hospital is now hiring an Administrative Director for our Cancer Program. In this role, you will develop innovative programs and provide strategic direction for the Abramson Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital - Program - in collaboration with the Penn Medicine CPUP Department and ACC Corporate leaders along with other key stakeholders such as stakeholders, PAH CEO, COO, CMO and Medical Director. Achieve programmatic goals and objectives to create and maintain a premiere PAH Cancer Program that meets the highest standards in quality, safety, access and service. The Administrative Director is responsible for: 1) Developing and implementing ACC at PAH Strategic Plan in collaboration with all key Penn Medicine stakeholders and serve as a model for UPHS wide cancer programs. 2) Establish and maintain all Oncology Quality Improvement working in parallel with other quality programs at the health system level. 3) Operational Management of all Oncology In/Outpatient Care Services. 4) Provide Cancer Service Line Collaboration for all other Oncology Services. 5) Maintain readiness for Cancer Specific accreditations including Commission on Cancer (CoC), National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and Foundation for Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT). 6) Ensure clinical and operational standardization and consistency across Penn Medicine where appropriate. Collaborate with leaders in the ACC at PAH as well as throughout UPHS including with CPUP Oncology Practice, Oncology Practice OP Lab, Outpatient / Specialty Pharmacy, Tumor Registry, etc. Development/Implementation of a PAH ACC Cancer Service Program Integration Plan working with all stakeholders using a multidisciplinary approach. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 1) Developing and implementing PAH Cancer Service Line Strategic Plan in collaboration with all key Penn Medicine stakeholders and serve as a model for UPHS wide cancer programs. 2) Establish and maintain all Oncology Quality Improvement working in parallel with other quality programs at the health system level. 3) Operational Management of all Oncology In/Outpatient Care Services. 4) Provide Cancer Service Line Collaboration for all other Oncology Services. Additionally responsible for the PAH Cancer Service Line Strategic Planning Processes and Implementation, Cancer Service Line Quality Improvement as well as, lead the Cancer Service Line Regulatory & Cancer Committee. Management of the Cancer Service Line Disease Teams: Breast Cancer, GYN Oncology, Head & Neck Cancer, Neuro-Oncology, Colorectal Cancer, Hematologic Malignancies. Work as a strategic partner with the integration of cancer services across UPHS and collaborate with teams across all entities. 24/7 Accountability and Operational Management of the following operational areas: 7 Scheidt Inpatient Oncology Care, PAH Oncology Outpatient Infusion, Radnor Oncology Outpatient Infusion, Cancer Center / Supportive Care Team / Palliative Care / Nurse Navigation, Radiation Oncology / Gamma Knife, Oncology Research, Transfusion Free Medicine / Anemia Clinic. Collaborate with leaders in the PAH Cancer Service Line as well as throughout UPHS including with CPUP Oncology Practice, Oncology Practice OP Lab, Outpatient / Specialty Pharmacy, Tumor Registry, etc. Development/Implementation of a PAH ACC Cancer Service Line Integration Plan working with all stakeholders using a multidisciplinary approach. Credentials: Registered Nurse - PA (Required) Oncology Certified RN (Required) Certification in Oncology Nursing Practice or other related specialty Education or Equivalent Experience: Master of Arts or Science (Required) Education Specialization : Advanced degree in business or a clinical discipline such as nursing, health care administration, or similar is required. Must also have 5+ years' experience leading a highly integrated service line in a complex health care system.
