We are hiring for Health Unit Coordinator positions at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Currently available schedules:

  • Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
  • Part time, 0.01 FTE, Day shift, Hours Per Week as needed.

Under supervision this position is a key multi-skilled position within the units. Collaborates with team members to coordinate unit activities and flow of information between teams and other entities.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of a Medical Terminology course within 90 days of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Pharmacology.
  • Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of Health Unit Coordinator training.
  • Upon hire: Certification by the National Association of Health Unit Coordinators.
  • 6 Months Experience in health care activities or institutional setting.
