Technical Training Manager (Healthcare / Systems Training)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Manager to support the delivery, development, and optimization of training programs for healthcare technology systems. This role is responsible for educating end users, developing training materials, and ensuring effective system adoption across a diverse provider base.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver virtual training sessions using web-based platforms (e.g., webinars, video conferencing, etc.)
Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting assistance, and system guidance
Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve user issues and improve training outcomes
Conduct outreach campaigns to promote training resources and increase user engagement
Host recurring live and recorded training sessions for large audiences
Track and report training metrics, including attendance, engagement, and feedback
Develop, update, and maintain training materials, guides, and documentation
Create short-form training videos and instructional content
Ensure all materials meet accessibility and compliance standards (e.g., 508 compliance)
Facilitate new user onboarding and refresher training programs
Participate in internal team meetings to stay aligned on system updates and training needs
Represent the organization at meetings, events, and industry engagements
Develop and distribute communications such as newsletters, updates, and system alerts
Manage multiple projects, training schedules, and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
8-10+ years of experience in healthcare systems, training, or healthcare administration
Experience with Immunization Information Systems (IIS), EMR, or EHR platforms preferred
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and provider environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience delivering virtual training to large groups
Ability to create engaging training content and materials
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel occasionally
