Lantern Light Health and Wellness Coordinator VISTA

HOUSING IS PROVIDED. The VISTA Member will be part of a cohort of up to twenty (20) VISTAs sponsored by Tulane University's Center for Public Service (CPS). The Tulane VISTA program partners with non-profit organizations serving the New Orleans community to place VISTA members in high-impact, capacity-building roles. VISTA members work with one organization during their term of service on a variety of activities to improve their partner site's anti-poverty programs. Tulane hosts a weekly staff meeting for all of our VISTA members to review activities and projects as well as have ongoing professional development workshops to help build the skill sets of our members for success this year and beyond. Member Duties : Tulane University Center for Public Service AmeriCorps VISTA members will be placed in New Orleans nonprofits in indirect service roles which alleviate poverty and build capacity and sustainability for their organization. The specific roles and organizations the candidate will be considered for will vary depending on the candidate's interests and capacities.
