Healthcare Director Jobs in Texas
A Healthcare Director is a high-level executive who oversees the overall functioning of a healthcare facility, including policy development, budgeting, personnel management, and strategic planning. They should also have a strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, as well as financial management skills. Often, these professionals hold a Master's degree in Health Administration or a related field, and some positions may require certification as a health executive, such as the Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) or Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) credentials.
