We are seeking an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who is experienced and results-driven to become a Senior Vice President of SmartVX. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and developing strategic partnerships in the advertising and marketing tech industries. As a key member of our executive team, you will play a critical role in shaping our sales strategy, driving business growth, and expanding our customer base.
This remote role is open to candidates anywhere in Canada or the United States in the EST timezone. It requires international travel up to 50 percent or more. You must have a valid passport and be able to obtain any necessary visas. Travel will be self-managed and scheduled as needed for sales opportunities, trade shows, and other business needs.
What Your Impact Will Be:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
Build, lead, and manage a high-performing sales and product team, including hiring, training, and coaching SaaS professionals along with AI sales agents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success, to drive alignment and growth
Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results
Stay ahead of industry trends in advertising technology, artificial intelligence, and video marketing
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both new name and back-to-base
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
What We Are Looking For:
5-8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing teams
Experience with sales strategy development, sales process optimization, and sales performance analysis
Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Data-driven mindset with a passion for experimentation and iteration
Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Strong understanding of the advertising and marketing tech industries, including customer engagement, data privacy regulations, and media buying workflows
What Would Make You Stand Out:
Entrepreneurial experience in starting up new software companies
Background in video platforms or marketing tech solutions
Experience with sales automation tools and CRM systems
Understanding of analytics platforms and sales performance metrics
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and customer success
