Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams to assess and diagnose patients' vision needs
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses for patients with varying vision requirements
• Perform visual field testing and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment such as autorefractors and optical coherence tomography
• Manage and diagnose ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and cataracts
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing procedures like LASIK

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in eye care and performing eye exams
• Proficiency in conducting visual field testing and utilizing diagnostic tools
• Knowledge of ocular diseases and treatment options
• Ability to perform refractions and prescribe appropriate vision correction
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with optomap technology
• Familiarity with primary care optometry
• Knowledge of postoperative care for ophthalmology patients
