Job Description
Do you want to be part of a forward-thinking team inside a global company?
- Works together with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery to customers' specifications and accurate receipt of goods.
- Working as part of a team, coordinates receipt of all deliveries to the warehouse and processes shipments appropriately
- Prepares shipments and determines the most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
- Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Completes required Dangerous Goods shipping training and receives appropriate certification needed. Recertifies annually or as required.
- Creates accurate export paperwork.
- Maintain department databases, accurately update ERP system, prepare routine reports, and scan/file shipping records.
- Willing to perform other duties as assigned or needed by the team.
- Follows established Company and departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives.
- Always Maintains Safety Standards.
- Cross-trains and assists in other Supply Chain areas (material handling, inventory) or helps in production when shipping is not busy.
