Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Rehabilitative Services AND Texas Sports Medicine Center creates an environment that enables the staff to fulfill its mission, meet or exceed department goals and operate effectively. The director integrates the department into the overall functioning of the organization, coordinates its services with those of other services and continuously improves the services the department provides. The Director of Texas Sports Medicine Center is responsible for the ongoing, effective operation of the Texas Sports Medicine Center department and services, and the ongoing assessment and improvement of the activities within the department. Responsibilities encompass the internal functioning of the department, budget, policies/procedures, compliance, special projects, general operations, reports, employee relations, and the integration of the department into the overall functioning of Tomball Regional Medical Center. The Director of Texas Sports Medicine Center supports an organizational culture for s and practices the s standards to all customer groups.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of an applicable Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech language-pathology program. Bachelor's level accepted, Masters or higher preferred.
• Five years of clinical experience with supervisory experience preferred. Facility management experience preferred including mechanical, logistical, and physical plant operation also preferred.
• Management of multiple services lines including clinical and non-clinical is required.
• (OT) Occupational Therapist, or (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist, or (SLP) Speech-Language Pathologist
