Position: Patient Service Specialist

Location: 921 Town Center Dr, Ste 700, Orange City FL 32763

Type of Employment: Part Time

Schedule: Weekdays, schedule TBD

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00/hour Pending experience

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Orange City , we want them to have an exceptional experience starting at the front desk. Thats where you come in. As a patient service specialist, youll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Dont underestimate the impact you can make on every patients care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

Must be willing to drive to 2 other facilities within a 35 mi radius

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Health Care Experience

Preferred:

• 1 Year Front Desk Experience
