Medical Records Manager, HRIS

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of HRIS Manager (Medical Records) at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Salary $64,472.77 - Job Grade K

Job Description:

The medical records manager oversees the medical record department by ensuring the security and accuracy of the electronic health records (EHRs) and paper files while maintaining compliance with healthcare laws; and leading a team of health information staff.

• Assures that the daily operations/management of the HRIS runs efficiently and effectively
• Assures that all HRIS processes are correctly executed
• Assures the accuracy and time code assignments for billing and claims are submitted
• Responsible for security and confidentiality of all health information, records and documents.
• Attention to detail Organization skills Problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
