Vice President, US Vaccines Contracting Strategy
Role Summary

The Vice President, US Vaccines Contracting Strategy is a highly visible enterprise leadership role responsible for shaping and leading the contracting strategy for the full U.S. Vaccines portfolio, spanning inline brands and pipeline assets across all channels (ie, retail, GPO, IDN, etc).
This leader will set the strategic direction for how Pfizer designs, evaluates, negotiates, and governs contracting approaches that expand patient access, strengthen customer partnerships, support launch excellence, optimize gross-to-net performance, and deliver sustainable business growth. The role requires a seasoned executive who brings deep market access and contracting expertise, strong financial acumen, and exceptional cross-functional leadership.

What You Will Achieve:
Enterprise Contracting Strategy Leadership
Lead end-to-end U.S. contracting strategy for the full vaccines portfolio
Define portfolio-level contracting vision balancing access, profitability, and growth
Develop segment-specific strategies across customer and channel types
Anticipate evolving market dynamics and reimbursement trends
Portfolio Access, Financial, and Business Performance
Partner with Finance and Pricing to optimize gross-to-net performance
Translate insights into actionable contracting strategies
Lead decisions involving financial risk and portfolio tradeoffs
Customer and Market Leadership
Strengthening Pfizers position with key customers and partners
Develop differentiated contracting approaches aligned to customer needs
Support complex negotiations and strategic engagements
Launch and Lifecycle Excellence
Ensure contracting readiness for launches and new indications
Embed contracting early into lifecycle planning
Compliance, Governance, and Risk Management
Ensure all strategies meet compliance and legal standards
Establish governance processes for contracting decisions
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner across Market Access, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Trade, and Marketing
Align enterprise stakeholders and drive strategic decisions
People Leadership and Organizational Capability
Lead and develop a high-performing organization including two independent customer facing teams
Build capabilities in contracting strategy, analytics, and execution

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience required OR Master's degree and 13+ years of experience required OR PhD/PharmD and 10+ years of experience required
Senior leadership experience in contracting, access, or pricing required
Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare and reimbursement
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Vaccines or specialty biopharma experience
Experience with launches and portfolio strategy

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $274,000.00 to $456,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
