Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full time Medical Records Clerk to join our team at the Patuxent Correctional Institution, located in Jessup, Maryland.
The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for performing administrative duties and supporting program and staff needs, including routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments (internally and for off-site patient appointments), organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and creating various spreadsheets and reports.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Medical terminology course completion preferred
Computer, office/electronic data input and work with electronic health record experience preferred
Office equipment use including copier and fax.
One-year medical office experience preferred in a physician/outpatient clinic, community hospital setting or correctional environment preferred.
Available shift: full time, days
