Hourly Pay Range: $23.24 - $34.86 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. HR Records Compliance Specialist The HR Records Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance of employee records across the organization. This role requires deeper knowledge of compliance requirements, independent judgment, and the ability to conduct audits, interpret policies, and support regulatory readiness in a healthcare setting. Position Highlights: Position: HR Records Compliance Specialist Location: Skokie, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Required Travel: travel to Warrenville will be required What you will do: Conduct detailed audits of employee records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulatory requirements Review and validate complex documentation (e.g., licensure, certifications, background checks, I-9 compliance) Investigate and resolve discrepancies in employee records Serve as a subject matter resource for recordkeeping and compliance standards Support regulatory surveys, audits, and accreditation processes Review and respond to unemployment claims to ensure timely submission of requested information Maintain tracking systems for licenses, certifications, and required documentation Identify trends or gaps in compliance and recommend process improvements Partner with HR, compliance, and operational leaders to process record requests May provide guidance or training to entry-level staff What you will need: Education: Required: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience) Certification: n/a Experience: 2 years+ of HR, compliance, or records management experience, required. Experience in healthcare or regulated environments, preferred. Familiarity with I-9 documentation, license tracking, or personnel file audits, preferred.
