Clinical Supervising Registered Nurse (Hospice)
South OKC | Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity
Salary: $90,000-$105,000 annually
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience required
Minimum 2 years of management experience required
Minimum 3 years of hospice experience required
Experience supervising clinical staff in home health or hospice is required
Experience working with geriatric patients
Knowledge of hospice regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Reliable transportation and current auto liability insurance
What You'll Do
Clinical Leadership & Program Oversight
Provide day-to-day oversight of the hospice clinical program
Lead and support licensed and non-licensed hospice staff
Ensure high-quality patient care is delivered in accordance with hospice standards and agency policies
Provide clinical guidance and support to staff regarding patient care, case management, and policy/procedure
Oversee personnel assignments and clinical operations
Conduct annual performance evaluations and ongoing staff supervision
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to the team
Compliance & Documentation
Monitor agency compliance with all state and federal hospice regulations
Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation
Receive and process physician orders and field communications, or delegate appropriately
Maintain nursing and medical supplies/equipment
Participate in on-call rotation to ensure clinical leadership availability
Team Development & Collaboration
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining hospice staff
Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive clinical culture
Support interdisciplinary group collaboration and agency goal-setting
Help develop and implement clinical policies and quality improvement initiatives
Operations & Community Relations
Partner with the Administrator on agency operations and personnel matters
Serve as backup to the Administrator as needed
Support community outreach and relationship-building efforts
Participate in marketing and public relations activities when appropriate
Additional Information
Moderate travel required for staff supervision, patient care support, and community outreach
Frequent schedule interruptions are expected
Occasional overtime may be required
Must be available for administrative/clinical on-call rotation
