Patient Service Representative Outpatient Urology Clinic
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Patient Service Representative to join our busy outpatient urology practice. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily front office operations.
Schedule: MondayFriday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Salary: $18-$19
Responsibilities
Greet and check in/check out patients in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer and manage incoming phone calls
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays
Maintain accurate patient demographics and medical records in the EMR system
Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and medical records as needed
Assist with patient questions and provide excellent customer service
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth office workflow
Qualifications
Previous medical front desk, healthcare receptionist, or patient service experience preferred
Experience in a specialty practice or urology setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
