Job Description:

Assures compliance with DNV, CMS, OSHA, CDC, and Patient Safety regulations for Surgical Services. Leads policy formulation and decision-making for Surgical Services using clinical expertise. Reviews and updates clinical policies and procedures based on evidence-based practice. Develops and manages the implementation of Surgical Services objectives and goals. Evaluates processes and ensures standardization of work instructions. Monitors clinical and operational performance indicators and develops action plans. Acts as a change agent, planning and supporting organizational change. Develops and implements communication plans for system and departmental goals. Manages data from safety, risk, and quality measurement systems, creating dashboards and feedback mechanisms. Collaborates with executives to craft and disseminate messages for employee engagement. Provides supervision and guidance to sterile processing departments and ensures safe staffing patterns. Designs and maintains organizational structure and staffing to achieve goals and objectives. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
  • Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

  • in Business Administration, in Nursing, or in Health Services Administration

Work Experience:

  • 5+ healthcare leadership [Required]
