Development Manager - Healthcare Technology

We are seeking a hands-on Development Manager to lead software engineering teams responsible for building and maintaining a mission-critical healthcare software product. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who actively participates in architectural discussions, code quality, and delivery execution while managing developers and continuously improving processes in a regulated enterprise environment.

The Development Manager will work across multiple SDLC methodologies, ensure high standards of engineering quality, and support compliance, security, and reliability requirements typical of healthcare systems.

This is a fully remote position. Requires 25% travel *

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the software engineers within the IT Applications Development team in support of application design, software development, and software integration.

- Define the key priorities in pursuit of the vision and goals associated with the Software Engineering practice.

- Ensure Software Engineering staff are following best practices around application design, software development, and software integration throughout the system development lifecycle.
