This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is comfortable managing patient flow while maintaining excellent customer service. Job Description: The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for managing front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and registration. This role requires strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to handle a high volume of patients daily. Key Responsibilities: Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments. Verify insurance coverage and update patient information. Complete patient registration and maintain accurate records. Manage front desk workflow in a high-volume environment (140-180 patients daily across multiple providers) . Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors. Work within EMR systems to manage patient data and scheduling. Qualifications: Front desk experience in a high-volume medical setting required. Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical.
