The Director of Business Operations for Perioperative and Procedural Services at theBillings Clinicis responsible for organizing, directing, and coordinating business activities in support of the surgical and procedural service lines, including Pre/Post/PACU/OR, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Cath LabandBillings Surgery Center,along with the associatedPhysician Practices.

Essential Job Functions
Financial & Operational Strategy:Manages budgets, optimizes financial performance, reduces waste, and enhances productivity within the perioperative department.
Data & Analytics:Utilizes data to drive decision-making, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve turnover times and scheduling efficiency.

Leadership:Collaborates with Physician Leadership, surgeons, anesthesiologists, all levels of clinical leadership to align business operations with organizational goals.
Strategic Growth:Partnering with clinical leaders (Chiefs and Directors) to design business plans that support the growth of surgical service lines.
Financial Management:Overseeing capital and operating budgets, performing ROI analyses for new equipment, and implementing cost-reduction strategies.
Develop and implement centralized business operations strategies for Perioperative and Procedural Services.
Supervise daily operations and staff within designated departments, including scheduling, charging, auditing, and preference card support.
Assess educational needs for staff and plan programs or in-services to maintain core business and clinical competencies.
Facilitate the adoption of standardized procedures and performance indicators through consensus-building.
Collaborate with physicians and perioperative leaders to maximize system value and meet performance targets.
Identify opportunities for integration and standardization across the health system.
Monitor dashboards, scorecards, and timelines to track and execute initiatives.
Lead the division team in business operations and provide guidance to department leaders.
Utilize time and resources efficiently and guide teams to meet goals according to policy and procedure.
Foster a collaborative environment across units for operational effectiveness.
Direct staff on setting priorities aligned with division strategy, evaluating assignments, and supporting ongoing development.
Assist in establishing programs, policies, and standard operating procedures reflecting unit and division objectives.
Support the Vice President and Directors in connecting projects across the division and health system.
Provide recommendations and direction on proposed projects and programs.
Prepare and deliver presentations to executive stakeholders, translating complex information into actionable business terms.
Perform professional, clinical, or technical competencies as required by department/unit.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
4 Year / Bachelors Degree In a related field
Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution

Experience
Minimum of6-8years of experience managing healthcare teams,demonstratingorganizational leadership andchangemanagement success.Preferred experience in both outpatient and Inpatient Surgical/Procedural areas.
Experience in business operations in complex surgical/procedural settings, or direct involvement in healthcare quality, improvement, or project management.
Previousleadership in large-scale surgical, procedural, or system-level projects.
Experience with surgical/procedural scheduling and pre-procedure workflows.
Background in surgical/procedural revenue cycle management.
ProficiencyinCerneror similar healthcare software.
