We are seeking apassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patient Service Representative - Registration at the Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth registration process.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and weing manner
Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information
Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure patient needs are met
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency withputer systems and electronic medical records
Attention to detail and accuracy
