Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is hiring for a Clinical Nurse Manager! The Clinical Nurse Manager will manages a clinic and/or department by supervising nurses and other personnel, scheduling, performing nursing duties, ensuring policy adherence, attending meetings, developing services, acting as a patient services advocate, and collaborating with other professionals. Duties:Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient conditions, recognize and respond to emergencies, develop plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes. Coordinates care and communication with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Provides patient education related to treatments, medications, and disease processes. Assesses patient needs to support clinic flow, including triage and scheduling. Administers prescribed medications and treatments and ensures adequate clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals are available. Participates in assigned duties, including committees, equipment inspections, and compliance logs as directed by Nursing leadership. Provides leadership and oversight of assigned nursing staff, including performance management, coaching, corrective action, and ongoing staff development. Manages departmental staffing schedules and participates in fiscal management activities. Ensures compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice and all applicable local, state, federal, and regulatory requirements, including AAAHC and CDC standards. Implements, reviews, and revises clinic and departmental policies and procedures in alignment with organizational mission and regulatory guidelines. Attends and participates in leadership, departmental, and interdepartmental meetings and follows through on assigned action items. Supports population health initiatives by implementing clinic processes that improve quality outcomes and community health. Participates in community-based programs and assists with identifying and developing grant opportunities to address community health needs. Completes required documentation and reporting and collaborates with other departments to resolve coding, charge capture, and documentation issues. Demonstrates strong problem-solving and conflict management skills, communicates concerns to leadership in a timely manner, and exercises sound judgment in decision-making. Participates in performance improvement activities and supports clinic quality measures, including GPRA initiatives.
Qualifications:Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association are required in the first six months Minimum three years experience as a practicing professional nurse (RN), Experience to include hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling and daily operation supervision. Experience in tracking, trending, and analyzing clinical performance data preferred Participating in collaborating in the integration of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and guidelines Evaluating organizational compliance with TJC and OSHA standards when applicable Previous nursing leadership experience preferred
