Supervisor, Patient Transport Department - St. Peter's Hospital - Albany, NY
St. Peter's Hospital, a member of St. Peters Health Partners is looking for full time Supervisor of Patient Transportation for our Albany Acute Care facility. This position will be responsible for the documentation, communication, and dispatching of a wide variety of patient transportation requests from customers located throughout the hospital.
What you will do:
Prioritizing requests for timely and efficient patient flow. Responsible for team supervision of the transportation staff. The qualified candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the Care Logistics/EPIC transportation system, zone phone and pager transportation system. Receiving all computer and telephone communications and issuing assignments to staff throughout the shift. Conducts customer service rounds with emphasis on patient satisfaction. Assists in training new employees on all job functions.
We are looking for a qualified candidate with previous customer service, computer and telephone skills. This position coordinates with many departments throughout the hospital so excellent communication and the ability to work with clinical, medical and various other departments is a must. Must be able to multitask in a fast pace environment.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma
Previous patient transportation system experience helpful
Previous use of transportation computer system (Tele-tracking, Care Logistics, EPIC) helpful
Ability to read, write and speak English
Excellent communication skills
Computer Skills-excel, word, etc. required

Pay Range: $18.21 - $29.15
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
