Locum - Medical Director – PACE Program Location: Pensacola, Florida Full-Time | Leadership Role | Community-Based Senior Care

A well-established PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) program in Pensacola, FL is seeking a mission-driven Medical Director to lead its interdisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of frail seniors by helping them remain safely in their homes through integrated medical and social support.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time (no weekends required)

• Leadership: Provide clinical oversight and direction to PCPs and APPs

• Care Responsibilities:

  • Perform physicals, order tests, manage chronic conditions

  • Participate in care planning, intake assessments, and family meetings

  • Monitor participant outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement

• Team-Based Care: Work closely with nurses, therapists, social workers, and caregivers

• Call Coverage: Shared call responsibilities

• Active Florida Medical License (MD or DO) – Required

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine – Geriatrics preferred

• DEA and CDS certification – Required

• Minimum 1 year of experience caring for frail/elderly populations

• Leadership experience in clinical or supervisory settings – Required

This PACE program supports adults aged 55+ who qualify for nursing home-level care but wish to remain independent at home . Services are delivered through a centralized wellness center and include clinical care, rehabilitation, nutrition, transportation, and social support—all under one roof.
