CSS Credentialing Specialist Assistant
Schedule: Monday-Friday. Full time, 40hrs per week. Varied shifts are available between the hours of 7am-9pm in your time zone.

How you'll contribute
A CSS Credentialing Specialist Assistant role who excels in this role:
Assist Credentialing Specialists with retrieval of their work as assigned.
Assists with compiling and maintaining current and accurate data for all practitioners
Assists with practitioner credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
Assists with monitoring to ensure current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all practitioners
Assists with maintaining practitioner information in online credentialing databases and systems
Assist with tracking certification and professional liability expirations for all practitioners to ensure timely renewals
Assists practitioners to complete credentialing process, including any additional documentation, verifications, references, and applications necessary
Complete and review all applications to ensure accuracy prior to submission
Assist with administrative tasks
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in data entry, office administration management or medical financial experience. 1-2 years' experience in credentialing/licensure verification/checks. Requires excellent analytical skills, flexibility, and ability to perform detailed follow through and prioritization.

What we're looking for
Minimum Education: Associate's degree is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of credentialing or equivalent work experience is required
Required Skills:
Have clear and concise phone and verbal communication skills ability to write legibly
Demonstrate effective written communication skills
Have strong computer, typing, and data entry skills: includes MS Word, Excel and web-based applications, internet, and database programs
Detail oriented with ability to recognize vital information from verification documents
Possess proof-reading skills sufficient for auditing documents
Ability to prioritize well and meet overlapping deadlines
Demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning skills
Ability to consistently maintain quality and production expectations
