Franklin University, a private, independent, accredited, not-for-profit University located in Columbus, Ohio invites applicants for its Clinical Coordinator position. The Clinical Coordinator role includes primary responsibility for maintaining documentation of program clinical/internship requirements. The Clinical Coordinator will manage clinical site agreements, maintenance of documentation of student compliance with all school and agency requirements, preceptor documentation, and documentation for accreditation and regulatory needs. This role will work an onsite hybrid schedule. Duties and Responsibilities: Student contact for internship/clinical questions/issues. Site contact for internship/clinical questions/issues. Maintain, prepare, and collect required student and site internship/clinical forms. Liaison between College/Department and internship/clinical site for Affiliation Agreement completion. Build and maintain College/Department relations with appropriate internship/clinical sites. Coordinate and track student health screenings and background checks. Build and maintain student evaluation system Maintain multiple databases. Support identification of sites for student placement. Obtain and verify site-specific requirements. Provide guidance to students on internship/clinical responsibilities, procedures, and conduct. Maintain HIPAA module (if appropriate) and monitor student completion. Create and distribute reports on sites, students, and complete projects for assessment and accreditation. Maintain credential file on site supervisors. Maintain CEU tracking system and prepare certificates. Manage on-site clinical lab experiences Collaborate with University, College, and Department to evaluate and improve internship/clinical policies and procedures. Maintain the clinical documentation system Register students in clinical, and clinical courses in Colleague Communication emails to students as they approach graduation, adding this information into Colleague for registrar and advising reference Administrative duties as assigned Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: College degree Commitment to collaborative & collegiate relationships Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate in a professional manner and work effectively with faculty, staff and members of the professional community Excellent multi-tasking skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written, are required in order to customize communication pieces to effectively reach intended audience and prepare reports. The candidate must have strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of products, as well as other databases and a demonstrated background in internet-based research. Strong attention to detail, demonstrated active listening skills and process orientation Must be flexible, able to prioritize, multitask and manage several projects simultaneously in a time sensitive environment. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively with multiple University departments and operate with a high degree of confidentiality.
