MRI Clinical Manager

UVA Imaging is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Manager with a strong background in MRI to lead operations across our four outpatient imaging centers. This Full-time leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional who is passionate about patient care, operational excellence, and advancing imaging services in a collaborative environment. This is an on-site position, Monday-Friday .

About the Role:

As Clinical Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our outpatient facility, ensuring that all imaging proceduresparticularly MRIare performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest clinical standards. You will lead a team of skilled technologists and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate daily clinical operations, with a focus on MRI services
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and quality assurance measures
• Supervise and support clinical staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring physicians, and administrative teams to optimize patient care
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Contribute to strategic planning and process improvement initiatives

EXPERIENCE :

• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience in related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within the healthcare sector.

EDUCATION :

• Must hold current and valid MRI credentials
• Bachelor's Degree and/or CRA preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION :

• Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR The American Registry of MRI Technologists (ARMRIT) and must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice.

SKILLS/ABILITIES :

• Ability to implement effective administrative policies and procedures.
• Possesses good organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and effective problem solving.
• Ability to plan and direct the work of others.
• Ability to influence others to achieve organizational goals.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
