Location: Murrieta, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: On-site (office-based with occasional field or educational travel)
Compensation: $125,000$135,000 annually (flexible based on experience)

Position Summary

The Clinical Manager (RN) plays a vital leadership role in the hospice care team. You will oversee clinical operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure high-quality, compliant care is delivered to patients and families. As the central figure guiding the delivery of hospice services, you'll have the opportunity to support staff growth, improve outcomes, and make a meaningful difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of hospice care, including reviewing patient information, conducting home visits, and assigning appropriate clinical staff

  • Supervise and support nurses, hospice aides, and other field personnel to ensure excellent performance and care continuity

  • Serve as a resource for clinicians, providing guidance on care planning, therapeutic goals, and patient safety

  • Participate in case conferences, coordinate interdisciplinary team activities, and ensure appropriate utilization of resources

  • Review clinical documentation and treatment plans to confirm alignment with care standards and regulations

  • Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and uphold organizational values in daily operations

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure in California

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • 12 years of hospice leadership experience

  • 12 years of recent home care experience , preferably managing a team of 100+

  • Current CPR certification

  • Ability to lift/transfer patients and navigate prolonged walking or standing as needed

  • Valid drivers license and insured, operational vehicle

  • Clinical competency in hospice assessments, medication administration, and interdisciplinary coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)

  • One year of direct hospice care experience

  • Experience with holistic, complementary, or alternative care modalities

  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities

  • Skilled in supervising care delivery and delegating tasks

  • Effective communicator with emotional intelligence and team leadership capabilities
