The Clinical Administrative Coordinator (CAC), is responsible for functions in areas such as health services, clinical services, and delivery of clinical care. The PDN CAC should be able to coordinate and complete multiple projects across various functional areas. Responsibilities include intake of members, managing the referrals process, and administrative support duties. To do this role properly, they must be proficient with computers, have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining reports, documents, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time. This includes conveying information to and interacting with internal and external audiences using various mediums.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work independently to identify priorities, make decisions, and complete work to meet established objectives; Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
- Access electronic member files using policy or ID number and determine eligibility in documentation platform
- Create program files in the documentation system
- Supports PDN Manager in managing Home Health Missed Visits any Home Health agency providing PDN services and maintaining documentation in the clinical management system
- Prepare and provide information and/or documentation to support reporting or standard deliverables to TennCare as needed
- Collaborates with PDN HSS Care Coordinator, PDN UM Nurse, ECF CHOICES PAE Team or other care partners as needed
- Collaborates with agencies as required to support the PDN Team
- Complies with HIPAA guidelines related to Personal Health Information (PHI) when communicating with others
- Serve as a resource to others and may coordinate the work of other team members
- Apply knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
- Identify and resolve operational problems using defined processes, expertise, and judgment
- Proactively identify solutions to non-standard requests and solve moderately complex problems on own
- Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement (e.g. CAC Audits, TennCare reports)
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects
- Create/maintain calendars/coordinate meetings avoiding scheduling conflicts
- Work cross-functionally and coordinate with others internally or externally to gather information; overcome challenges to obtaining needed information, (i.e. DIDD/Katie Beckett waiver/ECF program) as needed
- Provide input for and/or create supporting documentation (e.g., project plan; presentation materials) for special projects
- This position may require cross-training with other positions and provide coverage for internal team members as needed
- Adhere to applicable internal and external/governmental guidelines and requirements (e.g., legal, regulatory compliance)
- Perform other related functions as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Intermediate level of experience with relevant computer systems and platforms and ability to operate and integrate those systems (Intranet, Internet, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Cisco WebEx)
- Intermediate level of knowledge of TennCare guidelines, eligibility and requirements
- Must reside in the state of Tennessee
- Ability to travel minimally to meet business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience working with the complexities of a multi-tiered managed care organization
- Experience with Medicaid and/or Medicare
- Experience with writing and submitting regulatory reports
- Experience managing multiple projects
- Proficient with relevant computer systems and platforms and ability to operate and integrate those systems (ICUE, Community Care)
- Working knowledge of clinical documentation system
- Understanding of applicable business departments' operations, drivers, and/or procedures
- Understanding of fundamental health-care-related terminology, programs, and/or services
- Understanding of relevant federal and state regulatory guidelines (e.g., CMS, NCQA, HIPAA)

The salary range for this role is $ 16.88 to $ 33.22 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
