They are seeking a Director of Clinical Operations , a key leadership role responsible for clinical strategy, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across multiple campuses. Position Overview The Director of Clinical Operations will lead a team of clinical professionals and serve as a trusted advisor to regional campus administrators and nursing leadership. This role will be instrumental in shaping clinical policies, enhancing resident outcomes, and supporting a culture of excellence across all levels of care. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and oversight across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, and rehabilitation services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory standards, including Ohio Department of Health and CMS guidelines. Lead the implementation and optimization of electronic health record (EHR) systems across campuses. Prioritize experience and expertise with PointClickCare or similar EHR platforms used in long-term care settings. Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to align EHR functionality with clinical workflows, documentation standards, and compliance requirements. Develop and enforce evidence-based clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care. Oversee audit processes, surveys, inspections, and corrective action plans. Mentor nursing leaders to strengthen clinical competencies, foster professional development, and support retention. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and a resident-centered approach to care. Direct infection prevention and control programs across all campuses. Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of key clinical leadership personnel. Lead clinical response efforts during public health emergencies and crisis situations. Contribute to strategic planning, operational goals, and budget management at the senior leadership level. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unencumbered license in the state of Ohio. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, with regional or multi-site oversight in long-term care or senior living. Demonstrated experience with PointClickCare or comparable EHR systems in post-acute and senior care environments. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, clinical operations, and quality improvement. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams, mentor clinical staff, and implement best practices.
